The brief

A Houston property company needed separate apps for tenants, landlords and maintenance pros, sharing one account system, taking real rent payments and keeping everyone in touch.

The brief

A Cardiff taxi and airport transfer company had a driver app built in 2019. Nobody could update it any more, and iPhone drivers had stopped getting job alerts. Starting again would have meant months and a new budget.

What I did

  • Upgraded the whole app to the latest Flutter and packages
  • Redesigned the full UI for drivers
  • Fixed iPhone push notifications and location bugs
  • Shipped the update to the App Store and Google Play

  • Per-record failure reporting for poor coverage
  • Separate data entry and third-party validator flows
  • Bilingual English and Sindhi beneficiary agreement

How much will my app cost?

It depends on the screens and features, so I don't guess a number. Start with a free app review: send me your idea or your app, and within 48 hours you get a short written plan with what it needs, how long it takes and a fixed price. The price is agreed before any work starts and does not change halfway.

How long does it take?

A fix takes a few days. A typical first version of an app takes 3 to 6 weeks. You get a test build every week, so you always know where things stand.

Will it work on both iPhone and Android?

Yes. I build in Flutter, so one codebase runs on both, which saves time and money compared with building two separate apps.

Do I own the code?

Yes. You get the full source code, and the app is published under your own App Store and Google Play accounts.

Can you fix or finish an app someone else started?

Yes. A lot of my work is on existing apps. I review the code first, tell you honestly what it needs, then fix, upgrade or finish it.

Which time zones do you work with?

I work with clients in the UK, US and UAE. I am online during UK working hours and the US morning, and we agree regular check-in times at the start.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes. I am happy to sign an NDA before you share your idea or designs.

Do you work with design agencies?

Yes. I build apps under your agency's brand from your brief or Figma file, and I never contact your client directly unless you ask me to.

How do we work and pay?

Directly by email or WhatsApp, or through Upwork or Freelancer if you prefer their payment protection. Larger projects are split into milestones, so you only pay for work you have seen.
